Inversion therapy has been practiced for over 2,000 years to treat back pain. This can be done by raising the level of your hips above your shoulders.  Gravity then provides a gentle form of spinal traction.

The key to inversion therapy is to safely rest at an angle so your weight is supported by your lower half. This allows gravity to pull the rest of your body without nullifying the effect by supporting your weight on your head and shoulders.

The Great Hippocrates was the first to invent the Inversion Table.  Other methods such as ropes and pulleys have been used since then.  Today’s answer to Inversion Therapy however, is the Inversion Table!
